Ombre portée (sbattimento) : projected onto the floor or elsewhere by the represented object - unlike the shadow (ombra) which is what the opaque body creates, or the shadowy light (mezz’ombra) which is the part between light and shadow, where little by little one goes through the other while following the roundness of the object.
It is still night, but day had already arrived, and it is at this frontier where Shape no longer belongs to the force of the moment, through a woman’s solo, washing her body in the middle of a metaphysical labyrinth whose invisible wall is made by the shadow of an egg, projected into infinity. Like following a thread.
